Progress at Gewerbestrasse 15 in Thun – March 2026

In March, we were once again able to achieve significant progress on our construction site in Thun and reach further key milestones:

Structural Works & Core Construction
Concrete works continue to progress according to plan: In the south-east corner, concreting has already been completed up to the ceiling above the 2nd floor, marking the successful completion of an important section. At the same time, work on the upper floors is advancing at full speed—particularly on the 5th and 6th floors, where intensive concreting is currently underway.

Superstructure & Expansion
The project is increasingly taking shape: The timber construction on the 3rd and 4th floors is progressing steadily and is already beginning to define the future appearance of the building. Preparations for the next erection phases are also underway, ensuring a seamless continuation of the works. In addition, the start of window installation marks another important step towards completing the building envelope.

Interior Works & Infrastructure
A particular focus in March was the start of construction for the new bicycle parking facility: With the commencement of separation works and excavation, another key element for the building’s future use and accessibility has been initiated. The bicycle facility will significantly enhance the property’s attractiveness and functionality, while meeting modern requirements for sustainable mobility solutions.

Overall, it is clear that the project is transitioning from core construction to the building envelope and interior fit-out phase, with strong momentum.
